Better yet, ask me; I will tell you it is the difference between a lesson where students are engaged and another where they are discouraged by distinct their lack of equipment. How do you produce exponential gains in math? You make it visual. The power of technology has enabled us to produce impacting visualization of innumerable mathematical concepts; yet, so many of our classrooms are not equipped with even basic scientific calculators. My classroom is one of them. With your donation, students in algebra, geometry, and business math will have regular access to technology that will enhance their learning of core concepts. While scientific calculators are not exactly bleeding edge innovation, you would be surprised what a change you can make by putting them in a classroom where they are lacking. Exponents, anyone?
