My yearbook students are a small but dedicated group that have taken on the task of putting together the school yearbook. We are part of a promising inner-city San Francisco high school. Unfortunately, most of them do not own DSLR cameras and must share two privately owned cameras (one of which is mine) to cover school events and sports. Our fundraising efforts are focused on lowering the cost of the yearbook in order to make it affordable to more of the student body. The students are eager to learn about the basic and advanced principles of photography but the yearbook program has no budget and a limited amount of equipment. We hope the yearbook program can thrive and grow while grooming future photographers for the community. Thank you for your time and consideration.
