It is my goal as an educator to provide students with a learning environment that can fit all of their needs. Many of my students have difficulty sitting still and dangerously lean back in their chairs. Therefore, I try to provide students with other options of seating such as setting on the floor. Or moving our science lessons outside on nice days. Recently one of my students was having difficulty holding on to their paper and said, "I wish we had clipboards." This made me realize that although I am providing my students with other options of seating they may still struggle without the proper writing surfaces. I am asking for a classroom set of clipboards for students to easily work on when they need other seating besides a desk and chair. I am also asking for stability balls chairs to assist my students that desperately need that movement while at their seats without causing a dangerous situation when leaning back. Thank you for your consideration in helping to fund our class project!
