My classroom has a Harry-Potter themed reading corner to spark the curiosity of my students and make reading exciting! However, I want it to be comfortable and inviting and bean bags are essential! My students need two bean bag chairs and a variety of series books including Seven Realms,Twilight Sagas, and Naruto. What would a library be without books? During my time as a student teacher, I have collected books that were given to me as gifts. These are the books I have put in my reading corner. However, a lot of these books are part of a series and I want to make sure my students have access to the whole series. Some series I only have book 2 or 3, and are missing the first book. Once a child falls in love with a story, I definitely want to make sure they don't miss out on the entire reading adventure! Please consider making my dreams for my class a reality. As a Reading teacher, I truly want to make reading a fun filled experience that will help strengthen students' comprehension skills as well as nurture their imaginations.
