The last five years I have been teaching 5th grade and previous to that I taught 1st and 2nd grade. I have learned that even though kids get older and wiser, they still can't stay still for very long before they begin to wiggle around. I began flexible seating last school year by incorporating crates, cushions and stools. This change alone made a big difference in the students' attention, which in turned helped their academic achievement. So, as you can see, by donating to our project, you will ultimately be contributing to students' academic achievement. These wobble chairs would be a great addition to our flexible seating classroom.
