Our classroom is filled with eight spunky, intelligent, and vibrant students, one teacher, and four paraprofessionals that help to support our learning. We are a 12:1:4 Special Education population (8 currently on the roster)- 6 of us travel throughout the building in a wheelchair (half of us are physically able to walk) and 2 of us travel everywhere on foot. All of us enjoy sensory activities that require using our hands to sort objects by picking them up and grabbing them. We also like to use lots of colorful visuals, we use tons of pictures and objects everyday to help us better understand academic content. In our classroom, we use eye-gazing, audio devices, and circling to respond to questions during activities and follow directions.
