My students are in the dark when it comes to understanding lab procedures in the science classroom, help shed some light on their learning by providing them with an opportunity to SEE lab procedures demonstrated on a daily basis. We will use the document camera for a variety of activities, including demonstrating lab techniques, teacher demonstrations of awe-inspiring scientific phenomenon, explaining worksheets, and looking at organisms and processes together under the microscope. Many of my students are visual learners, and with a document camera every student in the classroom is equally able to view what is happening at the teacher's demonstration table. This particular document camera can record lessons, and has an adapter that allows for it to be connected directly to a microscope.
