The students will use the tablets to complete assignments in Study Island, perform progress monitoring of their reading growth on STAR, and work of math fact fluency on XtraMath. This will help build proficiency. Educational technology also provides valuable data to teachers and schools to make learning and discovery more meaningful and student centered. Having in class access to tablets will help Mr. Martin design his lessons around small group instruction, allowing students to work on assignments to fix learning gaps and higher students to work on more challenging work, all to build student growth. I am excited to have this project funded!

About my class
