The daily use of Chromebooks will provide the opportunity to increase student learning and prepare them for the digital world we live in! As a STEM educator, I teach and reinforce skills in technology such as basic keyboarding, word processing, web navigation, digital citizenship and projects that require collaboration via the use of technology. For example, students will work collaborative using Google Slides to create group presentations on an Electrical Engineering Project. My students will get to showcase their learning using these Chromebooks. These lifelong skills will not only increase their chances for academic success, but will also ensure professional and personal success in their daily lives. The Chromebooks will help increase student learning and facilitate my instruction in technology.
