Technology is all around us. Schools are providing students with activities that will support their knowledge in the real world. On a daily basis, I provide multi-media activities which include activities that require sound. Digital learning is essential for students to succeed in today's classrooms and tomorrow's global community. Students have to take state mandated assessments online, use digital resources on a daily basis to aid instruction, and develop their creativity through technology. With the headsets, students will be able to use the "Immersive Reader" on One Note to listen to stories if they are at a lower reading level, and students whose first language isn't English can dictate in their own language with the use of the microphone and it will translate their words into English. This will help break the language barrier to make students feel more comfortable. These headsets will be a valuable tool for improving my students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills as well as developing their technological knowledge.
