Our classroom is an incredible place for learning but unfortunately, our classroom library is currently lacking nonfiction text, especially books related to the Science and Social Studies units we cover this year. The books included in this project will allow me to incorporate engaging Science and Social Studies topics into our reading lessons, giving students the ability to make authentic connections across our curriculum. These titles will also be available to students for independent reading. This will empower students to dive deeper into the topics that they find most intriguing, extending on what we learn together and developing a deeper understanding of important people, events and concepts.

About my class
