My students are in need of alternative seating in our classroom while learning. Instead of seating in hard, stiff chairs under a desk all day, students should be able to choose a space/seat that works best for them. Also, our classroom is in need of binders and bright paper to organize, store, and create engaging and effective work stations. My goal is to have a positive classroom environment that accommodates the needs of all my students. The stack stools will allow students to have a place to sit while working in centers or they may choose to sit on a stool anywhere in the classroom throughout the day. The cubes will give students a more comfortable option to sit on while learning. I believe that these flexible seating options will enhance student learning by improving my students' attention and focus. The binders will allow for our work stations to be organized. This will make it easier and faster for students to find what they will be working on during that work station. Also, the bright paper will allow for us to create fun and engaging work station activities.
