My school currently owns three remo tubano drums and I love their sound and their quality. The majority of my classes have 23+ students in them and as you can imagine, they all want the "cool" tubano drums. I can actually tell the difference in the students playing them rather than the old little hand drums that have been taped a thousand times...they are more confident and feel purpose in their drumming. I would love to have a classroom set of Tubanos so that each child can play and learn with purpose and conviction. Drumming is an amazing tool to teach with and can be used for a great variety of things such as math, speech, science and vibration, poetry/reading and of course...MUSIC!
