Having a classroom library would help students grow in their reading. First graders have a massive amount of growth to make. Theoretically, students are supposed to come in reading at a level D and ending on a level J. If they are, students only have to grow six levels by the end of first grade, however, most students do not come in perfectly ready for 1st grade work. That is why the full classroom library set will help students no matter what level they are reading on. Students would be able to have a book to read on their own reading level.
