We are Nancy Jones and Heather Ferreira, first and second grade teachers at Underhill Central School Our mission is to grow inquisitive, thoughtful and environmentally conscious students who are prepared to become productive members of society. Through outdoor education we aim to develop skills in our students that will encourage them to explore and discover the wonder of their environment. The classroom will be designed to meet the needs of the Underhill Central School's first and second graders. The idea is to create an outdoor learning space on the grounds just outside the gardens for meetings, hands on learning, creating, observing and discovery.
