My classroom is full of energetic Kindergartners who are over the moon about being back for in person school after a year at home. I want to give them as many hands on, interactive literacy experiences during our reading and writing block as possible, so would like to stock our shelves. I love engaging my students in explorations through voice and choice and find joy in watching them innovate and have fun while learning. The sight word center will be used to build phonological awareness skills and add to their growing vocabulary. The Learning Letters Activity Centers will allow the students to explore a wide variety of their senses as they use their unique learning styles to explore the content. The AlphaBots will appeal to those students who enjoy storytelling with small objects. And the building words through crayons will cater to the various learning styles of students through vibrant visual colors and sensory tactile touch.
