Students will use the Hot Dots pens to independently work on mastering letter sounds, shapes, numbers and patterns. The Unifix cubes and cards will assist in students making CVC words during small group time with me as well as offer them guided learning during independent active learning. When students are able to use learning tools that are exciting, the excitement transfers to the students. Keeping students engaged in learning while challengening them at the same time is a challenge. These Hot Dot pens and learning cards will be used often by my students not just this year but for years to come.
