Not all of my students are willing to participate in hands-on activities that might make them dirty or uncomfortable. To meet the needs of those students, it would be beneficial to have tablets accessible to give them differentiated task while still reaching the same standards. This would help those students engage in activities like from dissections when we are learning about organ systems, without having to cut open a frog. So provided text to word directions to a student who struggles with reading a procedure. Having our tablets would also be beneficial to my students when they are doing animal behavior studies and collecting data! I want to be able to give them opportunities to take their learning into their own hands without any limitations. I want them to be able to understand how technology plays a huge role in the world of discovery. I want to ensure that my students are given nothing but the best because that’s what every child regardless of zip code deserves.
