Our district uses Lucy Calkins curriculum which uses many anchor texts to support students becoming better readers and writers. I need a book display to ensure students can easily access these texts throughout the reading and writing workshop. While the district has purchased many of the texts, a display would allow students to freedom to get the texts and use them as a springboard for their independent reading and writing. Additionally, the display can be used to display the work my students complete as well. As a new teacher I am just beginning to build my classroom and in need of furniture to enhance the learning environment.
