A lot of my students start 3rd grade with a strong dislike for reading, and most of them do not read regularly. I work all year to install a love for reading in my students. I want all students to have opportunities to read, and this project will allow each of my students to have their very own copy of an awesome chapter book. I hope this sparks their desire to read more! Many of my students tell me that they do not have a lot of books to read. I hope by putting a chapter book in their hands, this will help them to have a great piece of literature to read at home.

About my class
