Our students LOVE fiction; their obsession with Greek myths, magic and tall tales cannot be satisfied through our reading curriculum! We currently have a major focus on non-fiction and while that is awesome, we want students to be able to engage with topics of their choice by reading! Books are inspiration for engaging and learning through exploration. Books like the Magic Tree House series, or Percy Jackson's tales of heroic battle with their style of writing, vocabulary and prose, offer students language and information through amazing storytelling. We want students to engage with incredible other worlds that can be found in a book and serve as inspiration for life.

About my class
