Anything that we get donated into our classroom makes a huge difference in the lives of these kiddos. They come to school every single day and any resources that we can get like the cubby holder and a new carpet for the classroom will benefit both the students and myself. It's sad and heartbreaking that these kids don't get what others do, and I want to be able to provide that for them with your help! We do have an extremely old carpet and I want to give my students a new clean colorful carpet that creates an inviting environment where we can read stories and have lessons. I'm so grateful for any donation that we receive! We were lucky to get our first project fully funded, and I hope that we can complete this one as well. When I told my students that we got a bunch of donations they were super excited!! I became a teacher to be able to help students achieve their goals in life but sometimes it's a struggle when you don't have the materials and things needed in order to make that happen.
