These Samsung Chromebooks will open up the world of science for my students. Currently, if I want to use computers in my classroom, I have to reserve a computer cart for the day. I am competing with all of the other teachers in my school for this limited resource. I really enjoy allowing the students to collaborate. With this Donors Choose donation, I could have a Samsung Chromebook per group. They could collaborate on their project, and present their project from their group's computer--all without the current saving/flash drive situation they are in now. There are so many cool science websites, videos, games, and webcasts, etc that will be available to my students if I could have a dedicated computer resource in my own classroom.
