To build literacy my students need multiple, daily opportunities to experience literature. Through your generous donation, I will be able to purchase 4 portable CD players, which will provide my first grade students with an authentic way to strengthen and build their literacy skills. Having the CD players will enable my first graders to participate in authentic learning as they listen to a book of their own choice on CD. Listening to literature will strengthen and build fluency, accuracy and syntax skills for my students. Every student will benefit through this project as well as the students in my future classes!
