Having classrooms that promote equity and student achievement are crucial in this school, as many of the children are susceptible to negative life outcomes. The students at P.S.105Q rely on school because they know it is a place where they will receive both academic and social emotional support. Over time, I've learned that in one small classroom, there can be huge differences in the students' ability levels. Every child is unique and learns in a different way. I feel that it is my responsibility to provide my students with multiple pathways that will captivate their attention. Every child can grow and make progress; however, they must be given the proper resources and strategies that can meet their needs.
