I believe that reading widely and voraciously makes up better people. When we read, we see things from a different perspective and become more empathetic. Not only that, reading also enhances our thinking and exposes us to new ideas. In a world that clamors to control all students thinking, reading more and reading widely will help my students learn to think for themselves. I want to give my students new, high interest books to help them fall in love with reading, with the magic of escapism reading provides. These books will launch under resourced students to a more literate, empathetic, and thoughtful life.

About my class
