I would love for my classroom to merge with the new age we live in — the world of the digital. Although my school district provides the students with materials to prepare them for success; we in pre-k4 and the lower grades are never fortunate to receive laptops. Higher testing grades are always more top priorities for digital devices. However, the pre-k4 students are expected to be successful in kindergarten (which is the next year) and beyond. Why not give them the opportunity now! If they are given the opening in the earlier grades, students will be provided with many opportunities to practice "drag and drop function" to name one of many. The funding of this project will get my pre-k4 students prepared. My Pre-K4 students will gain familiarity with laptops, functions, applications, etc.; which will help them to be successful in pre-k and beyond.
