So many of my students come from low socioeconomic background and are not afforded some opportunities as their middle class peers. We need tree swings, garden tools, a ride-on crane and other outdoor toys. These items will give my students the opportunity to engage in fun outdoor activities. Playing the same games outside every day can become quite boring which may cause students to engage in unsafe behavior. With the new climbing toys and sand equipment, my students will have several different options on a daily basis which will help keep them stay engaged and excited about going outside. The climbing wall pieces will help my students build upper body strength and endurance. This is a major component in our daily learning.
