When you walk into my classroom, you see a room full of students who are eager to learn and waiting for someone to guide them to success. These 5th graders are nearing a fork in the road where they can choose a path of learning and success or a less desired one that brings difficulty and hardship. At this title I school, many students' only meals come from what they receive at school, and arrive with no supplies at all. Ninety-five percent of the population is at or below the poverty level. I want to help them to continue that eagerness to learn and to choose the successful path by bringing in more supplies that will make their educational experience one of the most positive ones they have ever had.

About my class
