We spend a great deal of time on our carpet area...from teaching whole group instruction to students sprawling out during work time or reading a good book, our rug is well loved. Our current carpet area is much too small for my growing first graders and within the first few weeks of school they are very squished and uncomfortable which takes away from their focus. Having a new carpet will make them more comfortable in their classroom and more engaged in their learning. My goal is to make my students as comfortable as possible in their classroom and make it a home away from home!
