With this iPad and Apple pencil, I will be able to use Doceri to teach students. Doceri allows me to project writing from the iPad to any project from my computer and also at the same time records and saves video files of things I taught. The biggest advantages of teaching students through a wireless mean are that I can walk around the classroom while teaching to engage more students and better manage the class, students can use the iPad at their desks to show their classmates of how to accomplish problems and at the same time they can save videos of how to solve problems to refer back in later days. I am a floating teacher and I need a large device and a stylus pencil to minimize time spent setting up technology at the beginning of each class. During a school day, I float into four different classrooms and use other teachers smart boards, docking stations, and technology through my laptop. Setting up this technology will reduce time with students. Doceri eliminates the need to calibrate and use other teachers' technology, except for the projector. These two items will help me tremendously to serve students in ways that maximize their learning and at the same time reduce time spent managing the class.
