These materials will be used to create a "Storytelling Corner" in my classroom - this will inspire students to feel more comfortable at school after being home for so long. Students will use this space to curl up with a book for class, to write in their journals, and to make vital connections with each other. These supplies, such as seat cushions and soft lights, will help to make a calming atmosphere in my classroom amid so much global and local uncertainty. After staring at a screen for so long, this will help students to reconnect with literature and themselves. These supplies will be essential to my students' learning and to their social emotional well-being.

About my class
