My students started doing individualized coding activities through an internet site but the activities require them to drag and drop items. For many of my first graders this is a difficult task. The laptops that we have access to are great, but don't have a mouse or headphones. They are also easily distracted with all the noise from their neighbor's activities. Providing first graders with the option of a mouse would allow them to easily move objects and not hurt their little hands. Having headphones will allow them to focus on their work instead of hearing what their neighbor is doing.
