In my classroom, I strive to provide my students with effective, fun, and engaging resources to help develop their reading skills. An area that I'd love to see growth in specifically is our reading comprehension. With some more books, subscriptions to Scholastic Kids Magazine, close reading texts, and notebooks, my students would be set up for success from the get go. I'd also love to be able to do more small group work, and whiteboards for each student would greatly help those small groups. I'd be able to identify students' strengths and challenges in order to differentiate to meet each of my students' unique needs.
