The special students in my class all have learing difficulities, many with Autism, Specific Learing Disabilities, Emotional Disturbance and Other Health Impairment. My students range in learning levels from kindergarten through fourth grade. Meeting the needs of such a wide range of students and learning abilities is challenging. An iPAD would allows students access to learing opportunities they otherwise do not have. Our class is at a Title 1 school, most students only have access to academics resources at school and have very little support from home. Students would benifit from a variety of educational applications to improve reading, writing, and math. Student would also be able to record and publish group projects and presentaions in Science and Social Studies.
