My students range in age from 4 years old to 6 years old, and for the vast majority of them my classroom is their first exposure to books! I teach at a public elementary school where over 75% of students live in low-income households. These children are like sponges when it comes to learning and they love their "book" time! I feel that it is very important that they are exposed to quality literature. I hope to have them develop a life long love of reading by having these books in my classroom!

About my class
