These materials will make a difference in my students' learning by giving them access to materials they may not have access to at other places. One of the online programs we use is called Lexia Core 5. This program allows children to explore language skills in an interactive setting. Lexia Core 5 covers multiple different areas of learning such as letter recognition, letter sounds, rhyming, synonyms, antonyms, and many other important skills that they need to accomplish during kindergarten. We use a math program that touches base on number recognition, sequencing, addition, subtraction, and comparing numbers. Having these tablets in the classroom will improve the chances to use these important resources.
