Our school garden has flourished this last year. We have obtained starter tools to expand our garden program, but lack the space to store the materials from the elements. The garden shed and the compost bin will allow our students to realize they, too, can create a garden at home to help their families and communities. This year we want to focus on sustainability of our school garden. The compost bin will allow my students to have an understanding of the scientific processes at work within an ecosystem. It also will allow our cafeteria to participate in the school garden.
