During center times in my second grade classroom, my students may choose to sit at various spots around the room. I have a bench that my father made, pillows, and rug squares for them to use as alternatives to a chair and desk. These floor seats with backs would give them one more flexible seating option to use during center times. They will be able to spread out around the room and focus on their center task at hand while in these seats. The seats will provide a comfortable choice for them to enjoy while learning and growing on their own!
