Who doesn’t prefer to read in comfort? Students will have more desire to read in a more relaxed posture and environment. As we build reading stamina during “Read to Self”, these bean bags and pillows will allow students to engage in reading anywhere in the classroom not just on the rug or at their seat. In providing different choices on where to read, these additions to our reading area and liking it to home, will continue to build that reading stamina. In addition, it will encourage and motivated students to grab a good fit book and build on the their love of reading.
