My classroom is located in Arizona. My goal every year is to create a classroom environment that not only creates a positive work environment where my students can feel safe, but a place where they know they have everything they need to succeed. My students come from a very low income area. More than half of the students are on free or reduced lunch. Buying the supplies we need for our class is sometimes a hardship on their parents. Knowing this, I will typically spend any extra cash I have stocking up on small supplies that they can take from me. My classroom is full of students who don't have it all, but we embrace what we do have and make the best of everyday!
