The scholars at our school have a desire and opportunity to experience different sports through a weekly rotation in physical education where standards are taught. However, their experiences are limited due to the lack of supplies/equipment available with our charter school funding allocations. Our scholars who are from low-socioeconomic backgrounds or in military families know all about football but sports like soccer, pickleball and volleyball are unfamiliar.With these new supplies and this new equipment, we can give scholars a chance to play in larger teams or multiple small teams in these unfamiliar experiences.
