This project is specifically designed to help my students this school year succeed because they need the materials to learn, explore, and create! I will create a classroom where students will have the necessary supplies and materials they need to complete classwork, projects, assignments, and presentations. This project would help provide my students with pens, pencils, markers, colored pencils, crayons, notebooks, notebook paper, whiteboards, scissors, glue sticks, folders, highlighters, and subscription to TIME magazine for students. By providing these resources for my students, they will be able to devote more time and thought into learning, rather than worrying about bringing their own supplies to class. Students will have designated spaces in our classroom to store the supplies and will be available to them every school day. There are many creative, engaging lessons, projects, and learning opportunities that I have planned for my students, but without these supplies they will be very difficult to complete. Some examples of when students will utilize these supplies include large and small group lessons, guided reading groups, collaborative reading and writing stations, and social studies projects. It is my mission to cater to the needs of every single student in my classroom, regardless of ability level or background. As a first year teacher, I do not have the same supply of materials or resources built up as some of the other teachers who have been teaching for much longer. With your help, I can provide supplies and materials to every student in addition to creating a positive, collaborative classroom environment. These are just several of the reasons I ask for your support and I would be unbelievably grateful for anything you are able to provide! My future students and I thank you and appreciate your support!
