With your generous donations, my students will be able to read the book Wonder. Being that my students live in a small, rural poverty stricken area, they may not go many places. They do not realize that there are many people who are not like them but very much like them in so many ways. By having a class set of this book, my students and I will be able to read and discuss what's going on with the characters in this story. They will be able to see how Auggie may be just like them in some ways. I will also be able to teach my students about character and how important each and every one of their characters are. Some of my students students struggle with character because many of them may not have positive role models in their life. This book can help them change into positive people who can look inside themselves and know how wonderful they really are.
