I want my classroom to be an inviting and pleasant place for my students so that they feel comfortable and safe enough to explore learning, making discoveries as well as mistakes, and give their best effort in their learning. I want to provide a variety of spaces, activities, and hands-on supplies and materials to engage and motivate my students to take an active part in their own learning. It is important to me to provide opportunities and supplies for my students so they can see that education is important to me. I also want them to see that their education is important to them too and to strive for a foundation of learning that will provide future success.
