My classroom has a jungle theme. Just as the title says, I want to bring technology to the jungle (my classroom). My mission is to provide students with positive and engaging learning experiences. Technology can be a useful tool in offering an engaging learning experience. Computers offer a way for my students to have stories read to them, play interactive word study games, and have the ability to use IXL to further their phonemic awareness. The addition of these computers to my classroom will ultimately help my students to become stronger readers. The jungle (my classroom) is similar to an actual jungle in that it lacks technological resources. This grant would be a tremendous help!
