The students I work with are grades 3-8. The students live on the Onondaga Nation or surrounding area and love to engage in reading books that they can relate to on a personal level. Many of the students enjoy reading nonfiction stories. I discovered that they love a series of books called,"I Survived".....Most students are below grade level on reading but with continued practice, they can make up the difference within a year.

About my class
