My students love independent reading time. For them it takes them to another place that they probably wouldn't go to in real life. Reading books stimulates their imagination and expands their understanding. These materials will make a difference in my students learning by giving them a variety of books to pick from to build a wide interest in learning how to read, that I strive to create. My class enjoys going to my classroom library but I need books that cater more to their needs. These books have been chosen with my students in mind so that the spark of reading will stay alive on all the reading levels that are represented in my classroom. With your help building the my classroom library my students will able to choose books, which will help them continue to enjoy independent reading. This will be a step closer to expanding their understanding into the world of learning.
