I am a passionate educator with 10 years of classroom experience, National Board Certification in Reading, and a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. I currently teach at a Title I community school with a high ESOL population, where I support diverse learners from many cultural and linguistic backgrounds. My teaching is rooted in equity, engagement, and high expectations for all students. I focus on creating an inclusive classroom where every child feels supported and capable of success. I love making learning meaningful through hands-on activities, interactive lessons, and creative instruction. I also use Universal Design for Learning (UDL) strategies to ensure students have multiple ways to engage, express understanding, and build confidence. Above all, I strive to foster a joyful classroom community where students grow academically and develop a lifelong love of learning.
