My students attend an impoverished public school in an urban area located in Illinois. They are 99.9% Hispanic bilingual 8th graders who want very much to learn and demonstrate what they've learned. They're eager, engaged and very creative. Some have learning disabilities & even autism but that doesn't stop them from being excellent students.
